Coding
I find pair coding and discussing solutions with others an energising and productive learning experience. I enjoy interesting problems, devising a range of approaches and finding the best solutions.

As a volunteer consultant, I develop curriculum resources and maintain a blog to support photography, magazines and design for Media Studies. I train staff to support practical production coursework.
Alongside volunteering, I was a Freelance Photographer for London College of Fashion (UAL). Prior to this, I had established a photographic studio, working as Photographer and Art Director for a publisher.
Previously, I volunteered for a North Islington community centre. I redesigned and developed their website in WordPress, trained staff and developed documentation for their content management system.
I organised and directed photoshoots and became more involved in that area, which lead to becoming an in-house photographer.
My initial career was in Graphic Design, designing or laying out books, magazines and other materials.
Additionally, during my early career, I volunteered at cooperatively-run magazines such as Spare Rib and the Riot GRRL magazine, Bad Attitude. I worked in design at City Limits and Everywoman.
